Το “Strut”, όπως είναι ο τίτλος του, είναι το δέκατο άλμπουμ του Lenny Kravitz και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου (Roxie Records/ Kobalt Label Services).
Πρόκειται για έναν αυθεντικό rock ‘n’ roll δίσκο με έντονο ρυθμό που εξερευνά την επιθυμία σε όλες τις μορφές της, από την σωματική μέχρι την πιο πνευματική.
«Αυτός ο δίσκος με έφερε πίσω σε αυτά που αγαπώ πραγματικά στη μουσική,» λέει ο Kravitz, “Πίσω στα συναισθήματα που είχα όταν ήμουν στο γυμνάσιο. Είναι ένας πραγματικός rock ‘n’ roll δίσκος – είναι ευθύς, έχει ψυχή και όλα έγιναν πολύ γρήγορα»
Όπως πάντα, ο Kravitz έπαιξε κιθάρα, μπάσο, πλήκτρα, ντραμς και κρουστά στο άλμπουμ, ενώ έκανε την παραγωγή και την ενορχήστρωση.
Για την μίξη του όμως, κάλεσε τον θρυλικό Bob Clearmountain (David Bowie’s Let’s Dance, the Rolling Stones’ Tattoo You και Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the U.S.A.).
Ένα μήνα μετά την κυκλοφορία του άλμπουμ του ξεκινάει παγκόσμια περιοδεία.
